The nearby Beach Hotel (www.beachhotelsandsend.co.uk) is a good, dog friendly, place to stay.

“The tiny picturesque village of Sandsend lies on Yorkshire’s heritage coastline, between Runswick Bay and Whitby. The clean sandy beach here, with small rivers running into the sea on either side, is very appealing and popular with fossil hunters, fishermen and walkers.”

High Tides on 18th February are 5.31am & 5.34pm (www.runswickrescue.org.uk).

Please can you give this a miss if your bitch is in season - Thank you.
